Friend

"Friends - they know all about you and love you anyway."

Ed has a philosophy of life - the more the merrier.  I like this philosophy - in doses.  In my world with a husband mostly on the road, I get used to spending time on my own or with the kidlets, and get quite used to my own routine.  I love myself a party, a coffee catch-up or a happy hour, but in doses.  My dad loves to have people around him.  He loves to be social.  This explains the church committee,  Rogalski family reunions and happy hour at the lake.  Back in the day I remember the good ole curling club because as kids we ran around that place in a way that my kids are not allowed to run around anywhere and the hockey games - Cory Colts.

My dad is very distinct.  He is of his own kind - and he is respected for it.  Because those crazy ideas he has seem to work.  And when it works, someone else is going to want to try it or ask for advice on it.  Bella came home with a toy horse that supposedly had a missing tail - not after Ed got ahold of it.  That poor bunny who tried to eat more than one vegetable from his garden - ever seen the movie Caddyshack?  Enough said.   I knew the minute I heard he was making his own wine it was going to be the best on the block. He knows that certain longtitute/lattitude of the perfect fishing spot.  If you are a montreal canadians fan, you are a friend for life.

Turn up the Alan Jackson song on the radio, crack open a beer and be ready to bullshit about the taxes.   Ed is your friend to have.
