"A rainy day at the lake is still better than a good day at the office."

Ed loves nature - he loves the outdoors.
Fishing, boating, quading, picking berries, planting trees, growing gardens, building decks, building docks, late-night campfires - Ed is a lake-lover.

25 years ago, I walked into a house in the woods that heated by a wood-stove, the tap water was undrinkable,  there was a limit on how often the toilet was flushed, there was a front deck, you went to bed early because there were only 3 channels on the TV and Sandy Renaldo was quite boring,  1 boat and 1 dock. I walked into our family cabin my dad built at Wakaw Lake.  Many a memory at the cabin.  Some of my best summers are my summers spent with family & friends at Wakaw Lake.  I am so very thankful my kidlets had the opportunity to experience the Wakaw Lake life this past August.

Today there are several boats, several decks, several docks.  It has a basement completed with a basement spare bedroom for guests to stay.  You can shower - but I'm sure there is a time limit if Ed is around.  The bedroom closet has baskets of toys for grandkidlets.  There is satellite TV. The beer fridge is ALWAYS stocked, the campfire is always smoking and the friends are always stopping by.
I think I have painted a pretty picture of this lake life Ed enjoys.  I think we can all agree, who wouldn't enjoy this?

But some things will never change.
